OOC: Please address Daisuke as Daisuke.
Daisuke pointed to a nearby signboard, bringing his companion's attention to the one that read "Tiger Dojo".
"This way. It's where we're headed for, right?"

Daisuke and his companion found themselves back at the streets.
"Now~" asked the girl, "What can we do~?"
"..."
Oh, I have no way to address her.
Daisuke turned to the girl.
"What's your name?"
"Ariela~"
"Oh. Ariela, we'll have to go ask around. Know where to start?"

Kuroi Tsuki scanned the deserted street. Only the street lamps, moon and the stars were around to accompany him. He walked down the street calmly, not expecting anything to happen so soon.
Hmm, maybe I should practice abit...
He did some simple stretching, warmed up a little, and then, picked up a pebble nearby. He tossed it up high into the night sky, and jumped right at it as it was landing. Swinging his legs into a kick that launched the pebble right into a tree. There was a dull "thud" and the pebble landed softly on the grass.
Next, he went on to practice some moves. Creating imaginary enemies in his mind, he attacked at air. Punching, kicking, and doing some stunts. Any passer-by woiuld easily think that he was either possessed by a ghost or is totally out of his mind...
After a few moments, he stopped, to catch his breath. He sat down on the pavement, took out his little bottle of water and took a gulp from it. Looking up into the night sky, he wondered where the "random group" of people were...
Ahh... The moon is bright tonight...

Kamin was preparing for the flight back to New Technia when she caught sight of the person sitting on the ground.
Under the moon and the stars, lit by the harsh glow of the streetlamps, he looked like a reflection of the moon itself.
Accompanied by hundreds of stars, but inherently lonely in his own different body.
Maybe I should join him.
She spread her wings out to act as airbrakes, and slowed to a slight hover as she floated gently to the ground.
She tilted her head, and looked up at the moon.
"Isn't the moon beautiful tonight?"
She looked down at the new person and smiled.
"Hello there. I'm Kamin. What's your name?"

"Woah?!"
Kuroi Tsuki exclaimed with a start, jumping slightly. He did not hear any footsteps at all. How could someone just pop up beside him? And that was when he noticed that this new girl had wings, further surprising him. It was his first time seeing a being with wings. With that, he blushed silently, his overreaction was something that he felt would have been offensive to that girl. He tried to recall the name he just heard.
Ka... Kami? No... Its Kamin... Yea. Wow, an angel being by the name of Kamin. I'm not dreaming am I? I hope the shadows don't show my flushed face...
"Umm, sorry. I was lost in my own world for abit. You're Kamin right? Call me Kuroi Tsuki. Or Kuroi for short."
He ended with a sheepish grin, and reached out his right-hand for a handshake.

"Hey, Kuroi."
Kamin took his right hand, and gave it a small squeeze.
Her wings slowly faded away as she cut off the supply of mana needed to maintain them.
She sat down beside him.
"It's not often you find someone out in the streets at night. People tend to stay inside in this part of town, mainly because sometimes really chaotic things happen."
Kamin recalled what had happened the last time she had been here, and grimaced slightly.
She sat there for a while, looking up at the moon that shone in the sky.
"Well, I'm running quite late now, actually. I'm supposed to go off and meet up with a few people, we've got quite a job on our hands."
She got up, and pulled out her handphone. Once again, her wings unfurled, and she gave them a small flap. A slight wind rushed through the area.
She looked down at Kuroi again.
"Company's always good. Wanna come along?"

Kuroi Tsuki enjoyed the breeze from her wings for a moment.
"Chaotic stuff eh? Meh, I've yet to see any of that, not that I'm looking forward to it a lot..."
Kuroi Tsuki mumbled.
Hmm, I suppose I could learn some stuff from following this girl. I doubt she's gonna backstab me or anything. She doesn't look like that sort of person. Up, down, left or right.
"Sure thing then."
Kuroi Tsuki replied with a smile, squat down and started tightening his shoelaces.
"Lead the way."

"Well then, off we go."
Kamin, without so much as a moment's notice, wrapped her arms around Kuroi's waist then shot straight up into the air.
"Elipson eu Gwain, Pedes ou Ravetel."
Her wings angled to a degree of 40 from her back, and light shot out of her feet as Kamin powered herself forward toward New Technia.

"Whoa?!?"
Kuroi Tsuki was taken by surprise as Kamin "hugged" him. And before he knew it, a blinding white light stung his eyes from beneath, and he felt the ground sinking from his feet. When he could see properly again, it was the night sky he was, literally, in.
Holy marmalade...
Kuroi Tsuki was too taken aback, both by the shock and the closeness he was to the moon and the stars. All he could do was too try not to move, and simply gaze at the astral lights.

Kamin's hair fluttered in the night sky. The silent propulsion by the twin light-streams that she created with her mana burned brightly in the night, but otherwise silence descended upon them.
"Pretty nice to be flying at night, isn't it?"
Kamin remarked to Kuroi.
Then, she pulled out her handphone, and fiddled with the keys.
It was a message to Yuki.
[Hey, this is Kamin. I'm done with business over here. Where are you guys?]

"Cough... Pretty indeed... "Its such a great privilege to have wings eh?"
Kuroi choked a little while spoke as the cold air filled his lungs and dried his throat. Gently, he checked if all his daggers with still with him. He wouldn't want any of them to have dropped off when they were flying. He couldn't bear to imagine what would happen if one of his daggers landed on someone's head. Confident that they were all present, he then asked,
"Where are we headed to again?"
His cloak fluttered silently in the wind, he wished this feeling would never leave him...

"We're headed to another county. It's a lot more technologically advanced than here."
Kamin said softly.
"Well, at least we're headed in that general direction. But enough about myself."
At this angle she could not fully see Kuroi's face, but she could feel the elation that was seeping out of him.
The sensation of flying is something one never forgets...
"You're new around here, right? I presume you've met Hayate already? What did he tell you?"

"I see. Sorry for being nosy."
Kuroi apologised. His excitement about flying has totally wiped out his usual empathy and understanding he had for others.
"Yea, I've met Hayate. He didn't tell me much, and the main gist of it was to go out and meet someone. Then I would start learning. He also mentioned about a group that came by not long ago. 'Random people' he mentioned. Not so sure what he means by that."
Kuroi replied. Before he continued, he considered really hard, and concluded that it probably wasn't going to be invading too much of Kamin's privacy, then he asked softly:
"Umm, so are you from that group?"

Random people, eh... well, that's a rather apt description.
Kamin considered the question.
"Well, considering the amount of time... I guess so, yes. You could say I was from that group."
She smiled at Kuroi, or at least what she could make out of him.
At that moment, her phone beeped.
[We're at Dragnea Base, heading towards the World Without Boundaries base soon. Any chance you could get here in time for the fight?]
She wouldn't have known what or where Dragnea was, but it was a good thing the message came with a Geo-Map.
I'll be there.
Kamin sent out another message to a third party, then flipped her phone shut.
"Well, I've got our new destination. Dragnea, here we come!"
She doubled the output of mana, and shot off along the road toward the border of Nasul City and West Orlania.

"WHOAHHHHH!!!!!"
Kuroi let out quite a scream. He was really caught by surprise again, not to mention that he had a phobia of heights. Come to think of it, why was he not afraid when they took flight a while back? In any case, this night had been really 'surprising' for him.
"No offense. But I would sincerely hope that you could give some better form of warning in the future... If such situations ever arise again..."
Shuddering slightly, he took in another breath of air, and tried his best not to choke on the cold air that is now pressing onto his face.
"So, what's in store for us at Dragnea?"
He questioned, and then squinted his eyes to prevent his eyeballs from turning into dried ones.

She sped off into the night.
[[Proceed to Dragnea.]]

Kane walked around.
Nothing to do in this damn bloody place, now, What Would The Emperor Do (WWTED)?
He stopped walking.
Find something to kill, get out of this place.
Rage and adrenaline gathered in him, he hunched himself in, before bellowing a battle cry, charging straight through buildings in a straight line until he would finally exit the city. Bricks and mortar collapsed before him like paper as his gigantuan form shot through it like an artillery shell.
"FOR THE EMPEROR!"

"God, will you STOP FOR A MOMENT?!"
Partum a Parietis of Glacies , amplus quam Maioribus Pugnaculum.
Instantly, a huge ice wall appeared before Kane and around his feet, stopping him dead in his tracks. The ultrahard ice squeaked slightly.
A being descended from the sky.
"My name is Evangeline A.K. McDowell, 9th Guardian of the Roundtable, designation Queen of Darkness."
The being was... a 10-year old girl.
Her blonde tresses fell almost to her knees, straight silky smooth locks that had the texture of baby hair. Her eyes were red, and those same eyes pierced Kane with a glacial stare that would have stopped the hearts of many weaker than him.
"Welcome to the Roundtable, Kane. Needless to say you need some explanation as to what this place is for."
Evangeline produced a notepad, and flipped through it slightly.
"You're from Universe 1504, am I right?"
She snapped the book shut.
"In other words, you should have natural magic resistance. Then the cold shouldn't hurt you for a while. Now, let's get down to business."
Evangeline sat herself down atop the ice wall.
"The Roundtable is an area where people gather to test their strengths against each other."
She gestured around her.
"A roughly circular land comprised of nine areas, each with their own unique qualities. But there are two things that stretch over these nine areas-"
She turned back to Kane.
"-the Guardians, myself, and the Knights of the Roundtable."
Evangeline closed her eyes, then opened them again.
"The Guardians, needless to say, make sure high-level contests or situations don't get out of hand. The Knights, however, form the bulk of such high-level contests. There are 111 Knights in total, split into three categories - 100 Knights, 10 Demon Lords and 1 Overseer."
Evangeline raised three fingers.
"The Knights are the elite among the fighters that are present in the Roundtable. They are ranked according to the fights they have won - in other words, if you challenge the 80th Knight and win, even if you don't have any prior posts, you'll still become the 80th Knight."
She dropped one finger.
"Second are the Demon Lords. These are the elite of the elite, the ten best fighters that exist in this entire area. Each have their own designated territory, out of which they are not supposed to venture unless looking to conquer other territory."
She dropped another finger, leaving one.
"And lastly, the Overseer. The ultimate fighter in this replicant arena. The one who holds power almost equivalent to God himself, strength with no bounds."
She leaned forward slightly, crossing her legs.
"I guess you don't know yet. This universe is 1809, the Replicant universe also known as the Propverse because of the existence of a particular substance: Propella. This substance is very unique, but one feature that makes it so desirable is its being the only substance to provide interdimensional transport capabiliities. So in other words, with this, anyone can travel between dimensions, not just people with great mental capabilities like your Emperor or people like Zelretch, who developed the power themselves."
She stood up.
"So, in this place, you don't want to go randomly destroying buildings. It's a highly dangerous thing to do, not just to you, but to this area. We already had to rebuild the Port once - please do not have us do it again."
She started to hover, preparing to fly off.
"Please clear the remains behind you into a neat pile, then call on Hayate for further instructions. He's in the teahouse."
Then she was gone.

Kane brushed a layer of ice off his armor.
For the first time in a really long time, reason entered his mind. After all, his job did consist of ripping thousands of Skarrge warriors into pieces... Three times.
Very well, let's see what's in store for me.
Working quickly and efficiently, Kane picked up chunks of rubble that weren't already reduced to dust and stacked them neatly, one stack for each piece of property. The job done, he headed back towards the teahouse, careful not to break down anymore buildings in the way.
Now to see who this Hayate is...
