So this would be the armoury...
Tsubasa had earlier shocked the conservative Sol into running off even further into the armoury. Not bothering to give chase, she explored around herself.
"And who's there?"

A customer had entered.
"Ah, young lady... what can I do for you?"

"Rather, is there anything I can do for you ^^. And I suppose you're the keeper here, no?"

Owner - Simo Hayha
Someone looking for money.
"Unfortunately, I don't really have a lot of requests..." he scratched his head. He had a few problems in the past, yes, but nothing his trusty old sniper couldn't deal with.
"Well... erm, there's this thing I need. Help me get it, and you can take one of these." He motioned to the gun rack.
"It's a bit far, and I'm a bit old, so I kind of need someone else to get it for me. But once you accept, you can't go back on your offer."

"I'll accept if you're not going to."
Kyouko was tired of this humiliation.
It was time to prove herself.

Store Owner - Simo Hayha
Hayha peered down at the little girl whose head was just a little above the counter.
She was small - but, if there was one thing the world had taught him, it was that your size didn't dictate your ability.
Heck, he was small compared to the other snipers.
"It might be better if both of you did this collection thing together, or maybe even rope others along. This port is actually a very safe place, compared to what's out there."
He took off his glasses.
"What I need you to get is in Nasul City, an essential ingredient for the armament of the Bio-Fusion Gun 3000 called Etherlite."

With the sea's help, Sierra was able to locate the Armory even after being left behind. She found that the more she used her limbs, the easier it was to control them, but they still didn't listen to her sometimes.
"What did I miss?" Sierra murmured as she neared the structure.
A description of the job. It is to another city in search of Etherlite.
The Undine frowned. She had never heard of this material before, but she somehow didn't like the sound of it.
If there is water, there will be spirits there that may help you.
Sierra wobbled slightly at the door frame and quickly reached out to grab the nearest hand hold. A weapon rack. She paled and withdrew quickly, water came out instinctively to prevent her from carving a path of destruction as she backed away.
Weapons killed people. She didn't like to touch them. A layer of water curled around her protectively and she turned her attention to the two girls at the counter. She didn't see Sol anywhere, even though he had been the first to rush off.
He might have gotten lost? We saw him wandering around when he first arrived.
So he was that kind of person?
He could have also gone deeper.
Regardless, Sierra addressed the store owner.
"I hear you have a... job request..."
For weapons.. Sierra finished mentally, a little perturbed.

"...."
'Ok..where's the entrance to this thing..ugh seriously..I need a map..
After a minute of searching, Sol found a backdoor.
'Guess I can enter from the backdoor too..right?
So Sol entered the armoury from the backdoor, and he overheard the store owner describing the job.
"Nasul City huh? Sounds kinda far and very dangerous."

The sudden appearance of Sol from behind the counter startled Sierra, temporarily dispelling the negative emotions she had. He entered as if stumbling in from the back door were the most common thing in the world.
He did get lost...
"You got lost again, Sol..? Do you need a map?" Sierra asked rather bluntly.
She wasn't sure if there really were maps available, but she had a small amount of money picked up from the bottom of the sea. There were interesting treasures down there.

"Err..yea I did get lost...wait..how did you know my name and that I got lost again?"
Sol stared at Sierra.
'I never did tell anyone anything...did I?'

There you go, saying things without thinking!! The sea yelled at her.
Just because we told you doesn't mean...
Sierra gulped.
"I... heard from... someone... A lot of people talk in this Port, don't you know..." She explained weakly and slid so that she was hidden behind Tsubasa and her large fluttery wings.
She hoped that someone else would take the boy's attention away from her.

When Kamin entered, almost everyone else was already there.
"Huh...? How did I arrive so late...?"
Shrugging it off, she proceeded toward the counter.

Simo Hayha - Owner, Target Armoury
"Well, so many people at once." Hayha scratched his head again. Dandruff was seriously getting to him. He might have to switch to Herbal Essences soon or something.
"I have a supplier in Nasul City providing the Etherlite, but recently supplies stopped coming. I think outside influence might have something to do with it. Etherlite is a thin, almost invisible and very light material, something like transluscent string. I use it to make the netting for the Bio-Fusion Gun armament."
Simo produced a small train guide, and the address of the supplier in the city.
"Here's some money for the train ticket. It's just enough for all of you, but I'm not sure if the supplier moved already."

"I'll take the job on together with these guys I guess. Pass on the jargons; probably none of us will understand anyway."
Tsubasa and her large fluttery wings - as deemed to be - disappeared to only be found at the train station.

'Ah, forget it. It's not that important, getting money for training is top priority'
Sol jumps over the counter and dash after Tsubasa.
'I better not fall behind...might get lost again.'

Venser listened intently to the ongoing exchange between the shopkeeper and the motley crew of individuals in the Armoury. If this was an opportunity to fill his pocket, it was definitely worth taking.
Since leaving the Academy, he'd been broke, having exhausted the remainder of his savings buying the reagents for a spell of suppression, to keep the energy within his eye in check.
He'd been living on other people's money since then, usually blackmailing people into giving him what he needed. Unethical, perhaps, but that was human nature. He was fair, though - he only took as much as he needed, and upheld his end of the bargain to keep secrets secret.
Knowing exactly what the people around you are hiding tends to keep things in perspective. It's never stopped me from making use of them, though.
Standing to the side of the Armoury's window, Venser had seen and heard enough of the conversation to understand the situation. However, it never hurt to make absolutely sure.
Focusing on the shopkeeper, Venser looked past the man's voice, his face, his person - and saw into his mind.
Picking a mind's easy if you know what you're looking for. What's this Etherlite? How does he think they'll get it? Anything he knows about where they're going and what they're doing is valuable information here. And what exactly are his intentions?

Owner, Target Armoury - Simo Hayha
"Etherlite: A stringy, translucent material used to make netting for the armament of the Bio-Fusion Gun 3000."
"There'll definitely be some fighting involved, I think the supplier got involved in some major scheme. She might be captured somewhere... probably not where the address says she is. I hope they know what she looks like. Sion Eltnam Atlasia"
"Nasul City, Seventh Street, #05-70."
"I'm running out of material. My stock is running low, and that stupid man keeps buying that stuff."
Kirisame Marisa
"Oh? What are you doing there, ze~?"
Marisa stared at the Caucasian guy, who was standing outside the armoury and generally doing nothing.
She had come to get some new weapons for experimentation, but people don't just loiter around outside armouries.

Venser brought his mind back to reality abruptly after acquiring the information that he needed, due to the sudden realisation that someone was talking to him.
A blonde girl in a witch outfit of sorts was looking at him curiously, as if he was some sort of hobo. Suspicion was one thing he definitely didn't want, as there was plenty about him to be suspicious about. She didn't seem overly hostile towards him, however, so he could rule out former blackmail-ees. Probably just a random resident?
I don't have time to investigate too deeply at the moment. Still, if she's a native of this place, what she knows might be useful.
"Oh, hello. I was just looking for the train station, and I seem to have gotten lost. You wouldn't happen to know where it is, would you?"

"Thanks very much." Venser followed the road south-east, noting someone ahead of him who seemed to be heading in the same direction. As he turned his back on the girl, he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd seen her somewhere before...and that she'd stolen something precious.
...It was probably nothing. He had to make haste, however, as he'd seen the others leave quite a while ago.

Waiting... again.
Maybe I should have guided him afterall.

'Oh god...I sooo need a map..

Simo Hayha
He peered down at the stringy material over the top of his glasses.
"Two thousand five hundred kilometres, yes? Very good, thank you very much."
He motioned to the gun rack.
"Take any one of these, except the Bio-Fusion Gun 3000 and the FIM-92 Stinger. I'm crediting an extra RT$100,000 to each of you, because the income from the BFG armaments is enough to keep this store running for another fifty years anyway."
