'A gun eh?'
Sol proceed to pick the M12G1 LAAV MP.
"Ok I'll take this one then, and maybe the lvl 15 marksmanship too"

"I'll take the Dragunov."
Kamin took the gun off the shelf, and adjusted the sights slightly.
"Think I could take an extra laser-dot sight with this, and a foldable stock? Oh, and, I'd like to buy Marksmanship. Level 15."
She fingered the magazine a bit.
"Also, one hundred 9x19 Parabellum cartridges, seventy 7.62x54mmR, and fifty 7N1-7.62x54R variants."

"I'll have the Dragonov, thanks."
Kyouko hoisted the huge weapon off the wall and pointed it at an empty wall.
"Can I try this thing out? Oh, and I'd like Level 15 Marksmanship as well, thanks."

Even if I expect myself to ride on the bandwagon, having no experience with guns, this suits me. Following Kamin's gun fetish might get me somewhere, but I guess I don't have that bad a taste. Also, I've always liked sniper rifles I guess.
"I'll have the Barrett .50 Cal M95 SA. And Level 15 Marksmanship as well. Also, ammo."
Not very good to have a useless gun I can't shoot with. Marksmanship should make up for whatever slight accuracy problems I guess.

Looks like I'm late.
Passing the box of Etherlite he had to the shopkeeper over the counter, Venser took a look at the arrangement of guns on sale. He didn't have much experience with firearms, but they certainly seemed like powerful weapons. He'd just have to learn more...and it was always advisable to learn from the best.
"Excuse me, sir, but do you have much experience with these weapons? What would you recommend for a novice user?"

OoC || Actually, all the boxes were brought already.
Simo Hayha
"Hmm... Novice user, eh? Well, depends on what kind of shooting you're going for."
Simo pointed to the assault rifle rack.
"These, here, they're good for general purpose. Decent range, decent damage, decent fire rate. The M16A2, MP5 and AK-47 are iron-sights only, but you can purchase an extra scope for Picatinny Rail mount.
The Steyr AUG comes with a scope, but using a scope means the possibility of broken glass in your eye if someone shoots your scope. Also, your field of vision will be restricted.
The M4A1 SOPMOD is the cream of the crop, laser dot sight and all, but you'll have to get used to different triggers for the grenade launcher and the rifle, and also the shortened length might make it harder to aim."
He pointed to the sniper rifle rack.
"Snipers are good for cover fire. Generally if you're working in a team you want one of them on these. The Dragunov's a decent all-rounder, decent range, decent damage from a .338 round, decent fire rate, decent reload time. It's good for combat situations.
The Steyr Scout is, as its title suggests, a weapon for scouts. It's small and extremely lightweight, and allows the user to move around quickly. However, accordingly it has lowered damage, and a slow fire rate because of its bolt-action nature.
The Barrett .50 is a powerhouse. These things can pierce up to one foot of concrete. However, it's huge, so even though it's extremely accurate, if you miss once you're dead meat. The semi-auto has slight accuracy issues over the bolt-action, but you won't feel it under two miles."
He motioned to the machine gun rack.
"Machine guns. Covering fire. Faster than the assault rifles, higher ammo capacity, but extremely heavy and super-high recoil. You don't aim with these.
The M12G1 LAAV takes a short bit to warm up, but its rate of fire is extremely high and with a thousand-bullet chain to boot. However, the bullets are large and armor-piercing, so they'll burn a hole in your pocket.
The M249 SAW, also known as the Para, is standard-issue. Decent rate, decent damage. But it's still kind of heavy. Bullets are less expensive, though."
Simo smiled.
"Take your pick."

Venser raised an eyebrow and thought briefly. The man's suggestions were no doubt useful, and given his experience, probably reliable. There was something else, though. When he'd been talking about sniper rifles, there had been an aura of nostalgia radiating from his thoughts - the same sort of nostalgia that one might feel when reminiscing about one's childhood. He definitely had a deeper connection with sniper rifles than other guns. That could be useful.
I'm not too concerned about his past, precisely, but his past experience with these rifles would be useful. Whatever skills he's picked up over the years would prove invaluable...in my hands. Or my mind, at least. He probably won't mind. Let's see what his mind yields.
Absorbing skills wasn't quite the same as absorbing knowledge, but the fundamentals were the same.
Information is an unlimited resource. You just need to know how to make use of it.

Constantine was amazed by the selection of guns on sale. He smiled, and the voices instantly rose in chorus.
"Take the AK-47! No, the M16! Come on, grab a Dragunov, it's not harmless! Idiot, the Barrett's the best. Go for it!"
"Jeez. I'll have the MP5 and 150 9mm rounds. I'll take the Marksmanship Level 15 too."
He grinned. This weapon felt right. The recoil was something he could handle. And besides, who needed a scope with an aiming reticule on the HUD?
It was compact and had a high fire rate, but it was rather noisy. Maybe he could improvise a silencer. It was done often by gun enthusiasts, he had heard.

Sierra poked her head into the Armory just as the others were checking out some... very... DANGEROUS... weapons. She gulped. Even little Kyouko...
Simo Hayha is allowing each person a gun for free because you completed the job. The spirits were back.
I noticed... ah... the reward money is fine, but I don't want a gun. Perhaps I can sell it back... or give it to someone...[/b] Sierra pondered nervously.
Weapons were the roots of all evil. Well, one of the roots, anyway.
Ask if you can sell it... or if someone will want it.
Sierra shyly extended a watery limb to the nearest weapon. It was one of the assault rifles. She didn't care what she got, as long as she could get it to the counter in order to ask her question.
Wait, you should check if it's loaded before--
Too late.
As soon as she felt the weight of the gun and its mechanisms, Sierra's limb grew numb and she dropped it.
She barely had time to squeak out an "Oops" before the rifle fired a shot that ricocheted around the room.

"Flans Paries Aerialis!"
Tsubasa threw a shield into the bullet's path which somehow managed to absorb it. She then proceeded to pick up the gun and returned it to the rack.
"I think it's better if you left the guns unloaded for safety reasons, unless people come to your shop and create a ruckus once in a while and you find bestial urges to grab a random gun to shoot them down."
Reaching out for her own Barrett, Tsubasa then turned to Sierra.
"I suggest you buy marksmanship first."
Maybe she's inflicted with human curiosity.

But I don't want to...[/b]
Sierra clenched her fingers nervously. "Tsubasa... perhaps you can take one in my place... I don't really... want one..."

"Hey, if you don't want one, I certainly do." Kamin chimed in.
"Besides, you don't really look like the sort who would have anything to do with things designed solely for killing."
Kamin adjusted the sights on the Dragunov again.
"Besides, it would be good if I had something for close quarters. That M4A1 would be nice. Two hundred fifty 5.56 x 45mm NATO cartridges as well, Mr. Hayha."

"How to get good at sniping: Practice."
OoC || No seriously, someone actually asked him this. This is his actual reply.

"I'll be heading to Nasul first for a challenge."
Tsubasa latched her gun to her backpack and took off.

Some help that was.
"I'll take a Kalashnikova, then, and enough ammunition to keep it firing for a week. I also heard you provide Marksmanship training? That would be most satisfactory."
Venser didn't have time to stand around all day. Picking up his purchases, he exited the Armoury and stepped out onto the street.

Kamin wants my gun..[/b] Sierra realized this almost gleefully. She didn't want the item to go to waste.
"You can have mine then!"
At the corner of her eye, she saw Tsubasa and Venser leaving.
Where are they going..?[/b]

'Everyone's leaving huh?'
Sol decided to take his time, creating a nail gun and as many ammo as possible, and then taking a rest to recover his mp.
'They'll probably wait for me anyways'
After resting, he proceed to the designated area.
