"We have arrived at your destination."
The canopy of the RRTS unit opened. Instantly, several armed guards stepped forward and escorted the group.
"Welcome to the FutureTech Chronosphere. NTWAR has forwarded their request to us. This will be a one way journey. There will be no return trip in the event you are incapacitated. Your life is hereby out of our hands. Please step forward."
The highest ranking officer, a three-star general, reached forward and opened a door, revealing a large glowing blue sphere.
"Your coordinates have already been set, inside the EotRS main base area on a deserted overlook. Be aware of the technology of the Empire - there is much more to them than meets the eye."

Yuki stepped out of the vehicle, and walked over to the the Chronosphere as per the general's request. He was going to continue forward regardless of what anyone else intended to do, and he was going to solve the mystery of where the bomb had gone to. He had to, lest the entire world be blackmailed by a single man and his stolen weapon.
"Don't worry, if I already made arrangements for when I die. Anyone who's coming along, let's go."
He closed his eyes as he walked into the sphere of light, feeling the essence of time-space bend around him, as he ripped through its fabric without concern, in a single moment of bliss known to most as a simple teleportation technology.
"Empire of the Sun, here I come..."

Sierra followed Yuki out, her serene face belying incredulity. The level of technology never failed to amaze her. And neither did the cruelty to the spirits. The more technologically advanced an area was, the less earthly spiritual matter remained. However disheartened she was, she kept telling repeating to herself, I must persist to prevent a war.[/b]
Yuki's words reaffirmed her purpose. As if he had given something like that a thought...
"It is cruel to say such words." She said softly, though Yuki had already stepped into the blue light.
She mimicked his actions, not really caring whether he heard her or not. The blue glow cast upon her made her appear inhuman for a second, before the teleportation transported her.

The blue sphere crackled and glowed with electricity, the edges soft, an out-of-this-universe contraption that was, indeed, against the very nature of the space-time continuum.
Kamin watched as Yuki and Sierra stepped into the sphere, and disappeared in a burst of bright light.
"Well, here goes nothing."
Kamin took a deep breath, and stepped into the sphere. Instantly a wave of relief swept over her, as if gravity had ceased to exist. And indeed it had - little by little, the particles of her body were pulled apart, rending her on a subatomic level, and sent on the one-way trip that they had been promised. In a flash of light, she was gone.

"Amazing."
Constantine stared in wonder at the sphere of blue, electric light.
"Sir, I strongly advise that you stop staring and move. Otherwise, you're going to be left behind."
Not wanting to tear himself from the beauty of the Chronosphere, Constantine reluctantly stepped into it, feeling a moment of lightness before vanishing.
