Ok, Wei Rong, here's the thread you asked for so we could discuss this in greater detail.
I'm thinking of generic NPC encounters for low-level fights. In other words, having PCs move around in war zones means occasionally running into a squad of generic enemy troops, scaled by character level. For example, people like Kane would encounter basic, 5-man patrols of PTE and LCP units, while if Kamin or Tsubasa were to walk around they would be marked as significant threats, and stronger units like healers and demolition units would be included in enemy squads patrolling the area, and the size of enemy squads would increase.
Is that allowed? I'm willing to manage such things, except for during exam period (will notify).

Maybe make it abit objective based? Like working your way to the regional commander's bunker to try to take him out or something instead of wandering around the battlefield.

theburntone, this is a pretty large-scale thing, so at some point in time I'll arrange a three-way meeting between you, me and NPC Controller 2 so we can stay true to your storyline in the event we take over updating.

Known Eran units:
Conscript:
The cannon fodder of the Eran Regular Army, Conscripts are given 2 weeks of basic training, then sent to the frontlines. Brainwashed and equipped with a vibrosword, an EnGrave Type-09 machine pistol and an energy shield, they form the bulk of any invasion force. They aren't much of a threat individually, but in groups their shields make them a relatively potent force.
Rank: Recruit HP: 20 + 30 (shield) Appearance: White armored robes (resembling Order of the Sword robes from Devil May Cry 4)
Footman:
Conscripts who survive for a couple of months get promoted. Even more grateful to Seru for her blessings, Footmen willingly charge into battle, and occasionally, their sheer devotion enables them to continue fighting when they should normally be dead.
Rank: PTE HP: 40 + 30 (shield) Ability: Devotion (when HP reaches 0, this unit fights on for 1 more turn) Appearance: Same as Conscripts, with blue shoulder trimmings
Rifleman:
Conscripts who show particular skill with their normally inaccurate guns are shunted to the Rifleman position. Their EnGrave Type-47 assault rifles are a step up from the Type-09s, but they lack any form of shields.
Rank: LCP HP: 40 Appearance: White armored robes, with red shoulder trimmings
Lancer:
Often found in command of squads of Footmen, Lancers cut an imposing figure, with their huge EnGrave Type-13 solar lances. Functioning as both close-range and anti-armour units, they can cause havoc on the battlefield.
Rank: 3SG HP: 100 Appearance: A walking suit of pure white knight armour, complete with T-visored helmet and lance.

Built by Era's sole weapons manufacturer, EnGrave Arms Corporation, the Type-09 is designed with a high-capacity helical magazine to allow for a constant barrage of fire. However, it is notoriously inaccurate at anything further than 100 metres.

EnGrave Type-47 Assault Rifle:
This weapon was originally designed to replace the Type-09 and energy shield the primary weapon of the Eran Regular Army by combining both into one all-purpose weapon. However, due to the failure of the underslung shield projector to work, this weapon was then equipped with a 1.5x scope and given to designated marksmen. Feeding from a high-capacity helical magazine, this weapon functions as both support weapon and sniper rifle.
Length: 87cm Weight: 3.2kg (fully loaded) Magazine: 100-round helical Caliber: 5.45x39mm Fire rate: 600rpm Appearance: Resembles a Calico M900 semi-auto rifle, with a scope mounted above the magazine holder.
EnGrave Type-13 Solar Lance:
This weapon functions as a powerful lance in close combat, and when opened, exposes a series of interconnected Twilight-based solar panels, which absorb sunlight and channel it to the Twilight crystal at the tip of the lance. When electricity is passed through the lance at the press of a button, the stored light and heat energy are greatly amplified and released. The resultant beam ionises the air it passes through, and the ionised plasma strikes the target, giving the impression of a white beam being fired from the lance. However, this overheats the lance, requiring a cooldown of about 20 seconds before it can be fired again.
