Appearance: Wears a black metallic overcoat covered in black needles. Underneath, he wears a white T-shirt and jeans, both of which are actually cybernetic armour. He can also cause the needles to fly off his trenchcoat, revealing that it is made of a silvery material.
He is about 1.8m tall, and has gray eyes and snow-white hair. He is half-Japanese, half-American. At least he looks that way, in Earth terms.
Personality: Slightly sarcastic, and can be obsessed with his work sometimes. He is good friends with his cheeky personal AI, Ai.
History:
As a child, Constantine Ward was always the joker of the family of 4 he lived in. He was always playing practical jokes on his friends and family, and delighted in coming up with complicated contraptions to accomplish even a simple trick like pouring water on somebody's head.
His father, an inventor, noticed his flair for mechanical invention, and soon put his skills to good use, building useful things for the household. Through the sale of some of these, his family earned a small fortune.
However, at the age of 12, agents from the secret military agency SWORD kidnapped Constantine, forcing him to design weapons for them. He was reluctant, until they threatened his family. Faced with no choice, he commenced work on the weapons he secretly planned to use against SWORD: the Glaive Thrower and a suit of cybernetically enhanced armour. He perfected them after 2 years, and made a bloody breakout from SWORD HQ, leaving a trail of destruction behind him.
After the breakout, he returned to his home for several months of bliss, until SWORD and its best agent, Surgeon, found, attacked and killed all his family save him. The incident awakened an unknown power, allowing him to control magnetism.
He returned to SWORD HQ several months later, armed with an enhanced Glaive Thrower and a full suit of cybernetically enhanced armour, obliterating SWORD once and for all. The shock of both his family's death and killing for the first time turned his hair white and his eyes gray. As he had overused his powers during the attack to fend off the SWORD agent Surgeon, they burned out, seemingly permanently.
The incident affected him greatly. He became cold and distant, forcing his kinder, softer emotions into the recesses of his mind to forget his pain. He threw himself into illegal deathmatches as a means to make full use of his abilities in invention, trap-setting and strategy to take care of himself. The fortune he amassed through these fights helped him gain contacts in the underworld, who soon informed him of the Roundtable, the most lawless, violent place around.
Thus, he ventured there to prove his strength and distract himself from his sad thoughts of the world, taking just his Glaive Thrower and the latest version of his cybernetic armour, resembling something a normal teenager would wear.
Abilities:
Invention [Level 25]: Due to his amazing, near genius-level intelligence, Constantine is able to construct traps and useful devices out of what others would call scrap. However, during combat, the quality of his traps is greatly reduced due to the need for speed. Traps are powered by the armour's power reserve, and mana used is not regained till they are disabled/switched off or they trigger. He can now create damaging traps, and can create up to 10 per turn.
MP Cost: 10 per trap
Skills:
Chemist: Constantine can extract pure elements out of his surroundings and use them to construct chemicals. Currently, he can make simple explosives (C4, dynamite, gunpowder), fuels (ethanol, hydrocarbons), acids and bases, as well as most household chemicals such as detergents and superglue. Chemicals can also be used in inventions.
Extraction: 5MP per element required , 10MP per mole of final product for reaction (e.g. 1 mole of hydrochloric acid would take 20 MP to construct)

Magnetic Manipulation [LV30]: Allows Constantine to control magnetism around him, giving him a range of skills:
Ethereal: When he dies, Constantine's consciousness is ejected from his body, downloaded to Ai's microchip. It manifests a body made up of light and heat energy, allowing him to move around. He cannot damage anything or communicate with others, but he can't be hurt either. He has a limited ability to pass through objects, depending on their density. Passing through dense materials or being hit by opaque objects drains MP. When MP reaches 0, Constantine is immobilised and has to recharge before he can move again.
Slight Electromagnetic Powers:
Constantine can still create a strong magnetic field around himself and channel large currents through his body, allowing him to become a power source for various means. However, he can no longer project electricity without touching the target object.
Needle projectile attacks are off-limits because he has no way to aim them, but he can use non-projectile forms of his iron needle creations.
Shock Cannon:
The Shock Cannon is a weapon powered by Constantine's own electric discharge. It is a powerful electrolaser which uses the energy-multiplying, physics-defying Twilight crystal to turn solar energy into a laser strong enough to ionise the air in its path, then, within a hundredth of a second, uses the resulting plasma to channel a powerful electric discharge at the target.
It has a modifiable output: One setting creates an extremely powerful electric field, ionising and electrifying only the air in an elongated, roughly triangular area in front of the cannon's mouth, forming a contained plasma "blade". The other fires the electrolaser proper.
The Cannon is worn like a gauntlet around Constantine's arm, and can be removed when not in use.
