After what seemed like eternity, the train arrived at Nasul City, Sol got off the train and head to the entrance.
'Man, that was one hell of a long ride, this job better be worth it. I hope I don't die this time..guess I'll wait for the others'
Sol waited in front of the entrance for Kamin and Moridin.

Moridin stepped out of the train. He had actually slept a little, which surprised him somewhat.
"So.. I think we should find somewhere to train, if we are going to do anything useful here."

The train ride wasn't that long.
Tsubasa turned to Sol and Moridin who had both got off too.
"And so where do we start from here?"

Kamin hovered near the pillar at the entrance, contemplating the city.
It was night time - and the city looked like any other.
What, expected people flying around or something?
Kamin turned back to the others, who were talking among themselves.
"Let's wait for the others, then we'll go see what to do.

Kyouko stepped off the train, exuding the calm confidence so very much like her every time her clarivoyance showed her the way.
She had spent most of the time on the train in the future, and she would make that time well spent.
The newcomer though, had a really annoying ability.
Still, if he tried to read her mind in an effort to see what was ahead, she would make him regret it.
Steady in step and more than fairly ready for what was ahead, she proceeded out into the night sky of Nasul City.

My mind feels.. very empty without them here... Sierra thought to herself as she walked off the train in a daze. She wasn't too used to paying attention to her own surroundings--the sea usually did that for her.
A sharp pain spread from her forehead and Sierra blinked with surprise. She had walked into a pillar.
Oh... Sierra thought, still dazed.
A familiar tickling in her mind jolted her back into reality.
Voices were giggling. Is that her? She's rather pathetic. Teeheehee...
"Who's there?" Sierra yelled rather loudly--not realizing that there were others around.
You're not strong enough for us yet. Hehehe... You can't even take care of yourself... Come back when you lose the training wheels.
"Hey..!" She started, slightly annoyed. But the tickling sensation was gone.
I don't know what class of spirits they were but.. They're right... I can't do much by myself. I have to get stronger by my own power...
She decided to look at her surroundings--for once--and realized that Sol, Moridin, and Kamin were not far from where she was. She hoped they hadn't heard her exchange.. though it was a weak hope.
"H..hello... You have arrived here for the job as well..?" Sierra addressed the three as she walked towards them, trying not to look nervous.
Tsubasa and... I think it was Kyouko.. they seem to have already moved on. Perhaps they don't like working with other people?
As she neared the group, she realized that her physical form was fizzing slightly. In and out. Like a TV that kept losing focus. It wasn't TOO noticeable, but Sierra could feel it.
There is.. a lot of magic here...

"Isn't that obviously why we're here? And we wasted enough time waiting already"
Sol rushed off after the the angel, which the others did not seem to notice.
'I can't lose my 'guide' now can I? It'll be disastrous if I'm lost here, according to that shop owner atleast. '

Cold as ever, Sol brushed her question off and took off after Tsubasa, probably so he wouldn't get lost again.
I wonder if I should be glad that he didn't notice my outbursts or offended. Sierra mused absentmindedly. Human reactions were hard to adapt to, even after years of observation. There was just something different about experiencing it first-hand.
Since there were no spirits to guide her this time, Sierra decided to trail after Sol so as to not lose him. She didn't want to test how good her sense of direction was without a guide.
I'm really on my own this time...

And so we're back here rather tattered.
At least we have regained our mana. (this is for everyone ^^)
Wait. Where do we get the money for the ride BACK.

"I got enough for 3 people..the rest of you just have to buy with your own money and get the payment back in the port"
Sol proceeds to buy the tickets.
'This seems too easy..hope we won't be attacked by a knight or someone powerful..that'll be bad..very bad'

Turtle Duracell
Teehee, they look so small.
Then again, everyone looks small.
Humility wasn't one of his strong points.
Duracell readied himself to jump; this was how he introduced himself. A huge meteorite-like thing falling from the sky would shock the hell out of anyone, and his sandstorm would blind them.
With a great leap, his great body soon became a silhouette for the moon. With any luck, they wouldn't notice him.

"Wait; why do I have 845 with me? Nevermind. Anyway, where're the others?"
Only Tsubasa and Sol are present at the station.
Did we go at too high speeds? Also, its getting darker. Here we go again.
Similarly, without warning, Tsubasa flew 40m to the right, sweeping Sol with her.

"Here he comes."

Sierra had been left slightly behind, since she needed to heal her hand up. When she finally reached the station, she saw a large lump in the sky.
This moisture.. I recognize this creature.
It was a turtle. And it was about to slam itself quite close to Sol and Tsubasa. She quickly scanned the area. Tsubasa had flown Sol to the side.. but the turtle's landing would cause chunks of the station to fly at them.
Sierra extended an orb of water around Tsubasa and Sol to absorb the flying debris.

Since Sol was somewhat dazed, Tsubasa decided to fish his goggles out and help him with it.
"There you go ^^"
Placing the slightly dazed guy down, Tsubasa turned to the supposedly stealthiest turtle she had seen.
"Fail surprise attacks often work for the worse - for the attacking party."

Turtle Duracell
Heh, this night was awesome.
Normally people would be taken out just by having a turtule the size of a blimp land on them; this party actually knew how to dodge. He would have fun playing around then.
He then looked closely and got the shock of his life.
What...goggles?! How did they know about my coming? And the sandstorm?!
For no reason at all, like the past couple thousand times, Duracell was angry.
He smiled suddenly, recognising the water spirit from that city four hundred years ago. There was something about the sandstorm which they wouldn't be able to prepare themselves for.
He landed right on the station, showering huge pieces of debris everywhere.
The fight had begun, it shouldn't last too long.

'Dammit...such a rude way to save a person, oh well..atleast it works'
Sol looked up and saw the gigantic turtle.
'What..the..hell..how is that even possible!? Man, the roundtable sure have alot of weird stuffs.
"What's our plan for this guy?"
He asked the angel.

"Someone go in and whack him, distract his attention, then when he's about to focus on you, I will come in and interfere, disabling him and casting chain spells while you guys help add into the combo. When he's disabled, all ally attacks will have a total of +5 damage."

"I will distract. I have the least ability to damage the creature .." Sierra offered without hesitation.
I don't know if I would be able to hurt it anyway.
She stood, gathering water from her surroundings until she couldn't hold anymore. The area around her was incredibly saturated. Sierra bounced forward, her body not even touching the ground thanks to water, and shot out several tentacles of water at the turtle from different directions, at high speeds. She targeted the areas not covered by the shell.
She was careful to always keep a steady supply of water around her physical body in case of surprise retaliations.

As the permanently enraged turtle turned to Sierra, the group chraged in.
Gathering rotating air at her fist, she whacked the turtle once on the eye.
"Saggita magica aer capture...Evocatio valcyriarum; spirits of the wind come to me!"
As the turtle was kept disabled, 4 Valkyries with air-element-enhanced lances rushed into his eyes too.
13 (whack)+ 80 (Valk 15 damage each, 5 more for vital spot) + 20 (5 each valk) = 113.

Turtle Duracell
Oh? Interesting, so there was a magician among the party.
Pretty painful as well, his head was going to hurt for a few days...
The one with water was irritating as well, though she would be gone soon.
After pounding at the ground some more in a bid to flip himself over, he stopped suddenly and concentrated for a moment.
Given the high density, intensity and speed of the particles of sand in the sandstorm, there was a tendency for static electricity to be formed.
And as far as electricity went with water...
A concentrated blast of electricity bolted right towards the water spirit through her wave of water.

Electricity...water?!
Kyouko didn't forsee this in the future, and this overlooking would cost her. She would have told Sierra if she had known, or bothered to find out, but she didn't and so...
She gritted her teeth. Just what had changed in her when she came to the Roundtable? It seemed like she was playing around, even...thinking for others.
She didn't hate this motley crew, but she didn't like it either, but unconsciously they had grouped together in a quest and were fighting together. Her included.
She would take responsibility for her actions.
She jumped right into the path of the electricity heading towards the water spirit.
Better 66% made out of water than 100%, at any rate...
