A back alley would be the most suitable place for us to get cornered and owned. This isn't exactly the best shortcut we could use.

"Heh, if you're worried about being attacked, don't worry... this place is covered by the Tohno mansion." Shiki was relaxed. He had never been attacked in the alley before, and he doubted it'd happen.
"Come on, we're almost there."

As she bounded over the rooftops, she saw him.
He was holding Akiha by the neck.
"Bastard."
She spun, and hurled thirty-seven Black Keys at Nanaya.

Nanaya Shiki
"This win's mine." He readied his sword, to stab it into the point in Akiha's right abdomen, to end her existence there and then.
Then he sensed it.
Instantly, he dodged, and dropped Akiha.
Thirty-seven Black Keys pelted the ground in front of him in a cross-shaped pattern.
His stamina was fading, and he could no longer keep his pace up.
But this fight was going to be fun.

She was tired.
Having ran out of energy from keeping Shiki from chasing, he had sapped all her energy out of her, ran her dry, and now she was going to die.
But she was lucky.
All of a sudden, he dropped her. Akiha crumpled into a heap on the floor.

The fight was over.
Nanaya lay on the ground, defeated.
"We win this time."
Ciel stood over him, panting. It had been a hard fight.
Slit Bible pages lay all over the floor.
She helped Akiha to her feet.
