Kamin stood in the doorway.
I don't believe it.
It was a teahouse in every way a teahouse could be.
A small wooden enclave stood in the right corner, with low tables and cushions to be sat on. A small clay teapot was placed on every table next to four traditional Japanese teacups.
On the left, there was a roomy veranda, with little bone china teacups set in saucers on the placemat of every leather-lined seat. A small jug of milk and a saucer of sugar cubes were in the centre of every table next to the vase of fresh geraniums.
And in the centre, a bar extended across the area, with a staircase behind it leading to the upper floor.
It's kind of... not very fitted together, is it?
Suddenly, the bartender, who was making a batch of teacakes, noticed Kamin. He smiled a warm, gracious smile.
"Welcome to Machigai Tea House. I'm the owner of this place, and I'm glad to be of service to you. Now, please do come inside, you're blocking the others."
Kamin, once again having committed the same crime of standing in the exact middle of the doorway, embarrassedly carried her suitcase down to the bar.

The half-tenshi with giant luggage isn't exactly very observant
Tsubasa floats just high enough for the clasped chain to dangle an inch of the ground. Precision was her forte afterall. But her patience wasn't much, reflected by the many purple veins appearing on her forehead, and on her right clenched fist.
It had been two seconds already.
By the next count her fist would already relaxed. Fortunately for both of them the better of the two-halves in front stepped forward.
"Milk tea. Five mugs, no sugar. At all."
She then plonked herself next to the two-halves.

"Coming right up!" the latest entrant to the teahouse was noticeably different from the one who had been in the doorway. But yet again, not all that different.
Well, she has really pretty wings, for one. I wonder if she'll let me clean them?
The bartender was a very neat person. His suit was always pressed perfectly, his smooth hair combed neatly. His silky smooth complexion was a sight to behold, even among his female compatriots.
As he moved quickly to prepare the tea, he realised something. He turned to the person with the wings.
"Sorry, but would that be Jasmine, Earl Grey, Crysanthenum, Rosehip, or Orlanian? The Orlanian tea is always very fresh." Once again, he broke out the warm gracious smile.
Suddenly, he noticed the little girl standing outside. "Ah! Would you like to come in? It's pretty cold out." Never mind the eerie aura of death around her, people should never be cold when they don't have to.

Studying the hinges, fixedName imparted just the right amount of kinetic energy into the door to create a sound, but not enough to knock it down. He always announces his arrival with a bang.
Getting an empty table, he scanned the area while waiting for someone who appeared to be in-charge.
Apparently the other customers before him had quite a bit of orders.
He decided to wait and absorb some more data.

"Milk tea, just plain tea with extra doses of milk would do."
No matter how fresh the other tea assortments would be, she only wanted for milk tea. The aroma was one thing, but milk tea was the only tea that held the essence she wanted.
But in return, the milk tea always spited her. It was as though that colour in it was bitter. Not that the bitterness was anywhere near the bottled dose she took mentally.
And in turn the need to spite others was found.
Every input needed an output; that was the only philosophy she held on to.
"No sugar too. It spoils the tea."
Tsubasa forced a blunt face back in return.

This person... well, being, is rather picky, isn't she...
Kamin was still burning from the whole doorway incident, and having the person she had unintentionally blocked sit right next to her wasn't helping things.
"I'm sorry, but I would really like some of that Orlanian tea. One circle of milk, please. Oh, and those teacakes look scrumptious. Thank you."
Kamin stole a glance at the ...being... next to her, and immediately regretted it. The look on her face was... scary, to say the least.

Bartender
"Right then. Coming right up!"
Somehow, the teahouse suddenly had more customers than usual. Maybe his tea was getting famous or something.
One standard milk tea, and one Orlanian tea. Oh, there was the little girl as well, and the mysterious young man sitting in the corner.
Perhaps he's waiting for me to finish. What a nice person!
But the bartender was a fast person.
"Excuse me, sir, young madam, what would you like to order?"

fixedName wasn't too picky. He hoped his organic component wasn't too.
Taking less than a second to scan the bartender, he got his order out quickly.
"I would have some of those teacakes and a coffee without milk."

"Coming right up, then!"
Their orders were dutifully dispatched, and in under thirty seconds, sitting on the respective customers' tables.
Ha, they don't call me fastest teahouse tender for nothing.
There was, of course, still the young lady, who was STILL standing there.
"So, young madam? What would you like?" That warm, gracious smile again. It kept people happy.

Two-halves next to her was stealing glances.
It wasn't particularly annoying; neither did it make her uncomfortable. The almost bestial urge to turn to someone who maybe could relate to her was comforting.
Yet, it might turn out like how it did before.
She needed a tighter facade. A farce that wasn't meant to be seen through.
It was just one glance, it couldn't hurt. Just one returned glimpse of a half-bred kin next to her. She swerved herself around.
There was a colour. It wasn't what they called black, nor white, but the tinged black in her milk tea.
The colour of brown in the kin next to her. Brown eyes and hair. (obvious reference to someone who has red.)

Kyouko considered the question. Since the competition hasn't officially started yet, she might as well bid her time.
"Earl Grey."
She would leave the bartender to decipher that for himself.

Upon arriving at the teahouse, Sol entered as silently as he could, trying not to attract attention to himself, seated himself at an empty table, the furthest one from the crowd.
I hope I won't attract too much attention with this garments..I seriously don't like to talk to people..
He then proceeds to examine the customers of the teahouse.
Hmm, there sure are alot of different species here..maybe I can finally find a place for myself.

A. Haha. Hahaha.
The winged being next to Kamin had looked at her. That look on her face...
A mutual understanding, perhaps? Or a "we're in the same boat" thing? I can't really tell.
She seemed to know something about Kamin, though. Something that Kamin herself knew, but she was always scared to admit it.
I wonder. Does she know...? Maybe purebloods really can tell...

Earl Grey it is!
The bartender busied himself with the tea, whistling softly to himself. There was something he really had to ask, but he was afraid of what might happen after.
"Here, young madam, your tea."
He turned back to his teacakes. Then back to the bar.
"You're all here to participate in the Roundtable, aren't you? Most people here do." He said with a warm, gracious smile.

fixedName got a bit dizzy from all the data. He never really scanned that many people in such a short amount of time, and taking into account that all looked like they were very different...
But it seemed like no one was friends.
Maybe I should form alliances quickly
He took a closer look around
Perhaps not

Tsubasa couldn't shy away from that response that was thrown back. Looking at two-halves was making her anxious, as though she was anticipating something.
The initiative is mine then.
"I..."
Tsubasa tenses.
"My name's Tsubasa, nice to meet you"
And relaxes.
Normal introductions should work. Coupled with the "YES, WHOO, WE'RE THE SAME. 'HIYA PARTNER!' look."
Tsubasa doesn't force anything. She relents into a smile.

This person's kind of creepy. But she's definitely pureblood.
Kamin couldn't help but return the smile at this Tsubasa person, but what was really bugging her was the bartender's statement.
Well, what else would they come here for, anyway... can't be the tea, I guess. But Orlanian tea really is kind of nice.

Kyouko narrowed her gaze at the bartender.
Was this some sort of challenge to a fight? If so..
She closed her eyes and called to herself, the visions who cursed her so, to guide her once again.

Tsubasa then turns to her milk tea.
Grabbing a grand total of 25 packets of sugar, she then proceeds to pour sugar into her tea that blends back into a ebony black. Not that it matters now anyway.
All that was needed for the time being was intoxicating sweetness. And the entire purpose as to why she was here.
The Roundtable.
"Why else would we be here? Suicidal missions?"
Tsubasa forced some cynicism back into her tone.

"Well, we do get quite a few of those. You know, some people like to escape here, gives them a kind of cover because armed people usually get accosted quite fast by the resident fighters. There's this group, though, that managed to survive, made it to 90th Knight rank in the Roundtable. They say it's teamwork, but I don't think it's just that." Smile.
The young lady's eerie aura of death just got a lot bigger, but it wasn't really much enough to scare him. He'd seen enough of death to stare it in the eye and ask if it wanted tea.

The people here are weird... Should have started with a "I don't want ordinary people" to fit in
fixedName took another look around at the lively teahouse
Then again there was no need to
His organic component's stomach was growling yet again. He decided to act quickly.
"Hi, I'm fixedName, pleased to meet you all. I'm sure we are here for a single purpose. However, let me fill my stomach with food first."
fixedName quickly sat down. He realized he sounded a little awkward.
He looked down and realized the chomp was there.

OoC || Next time, if wanting to talk, use OoC. It means Out of Character. Forgot the term for going back in, though. ||
This is a really cynical angel.
Kamin didn't really like to make enemies, though.
"Well, that'd be really great if I got to know them and all. Guess I could get some weapons training or something." Kamin said (or at least attempted to) easily.
"Hi, Tsubasa. Sorry, you're really beautiful, so I didn't really reply..." It was an excuse, but it wasn't really good to say "You're a bloody scary person".

Kyouko let out a gasp as she surveyed the scene around her: broken furniture and completely demolished walls. Quite a change from the current scene.
Despite having peeked into the future countless of times, it has never failed to astonish her how unpredictable life could be.
She could not make out any of the occupants besides herself. Gone or dead she guessed.
She clenched her fist and was suddenly brought back in a flash to the present.
The bartender's answer was vague and he never really confirmed whether he was participating or not.
She would claim first blood then.
In a split second she was behind him, and was ready to deliver a most vicious uppercut.
Let's see if the bartender could survive this.

So it's a survival game cum teamwork. If so, this is definitely a good place to survey for members.
Two-halves next to her seemed happy-go-lucky enough to die soon, which definitely would be a pity. Enough of the same had been seen. And real fake too.
The inner-demon that would lash back in self-defense is purely passive in her. Yet when developed; active...
"I do note the same for you too ^^"
Tsubasa was intrigued. Human-tenshi nature was afterall, an interesting subject - there was no telling how two-halves would turn out.
Her hidden base prowess was enough already.
Then, there was also that silent observer that was attempting to collect data without being noticed. No one seemed to notice, but it stifled the air slightly. Informative support would be a granted usefulness Tsubasa guessed.
The crazy over-powered loli is still at the door... Granted she's reckless enough to direct killing intent at a bartender who might have been killed on so many occasions, yet still has survived...
It turned out to be somewhat vexing.

Bartender
In a flash, the young lady had disappeared.
Another one of those. Perhaps I should properly explain the rules.
Ducking quickly, the bartender was on the veranda when the young lady emerged where he had been.
"Now, now, don't be too quick. Let's have some intro first. I don't really like to fight, but since you've taken the first step I'll have to oblige."
The bartender smiled a warm, gracious smile.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Ayasaki Hayate, 95th Knight of the Roundtable."
