Inside the seventh barracks that lay to the northwest of the central dome, someone stirred. The three light bars shone brightly on the walls of the building.
A disturbance in the lines that crisscrossed and connected the minds of the soldiers. Someone from outside had the ability to manipulate the psychic threads that webbed across the earth as well. The psychic threads that held everything together.
An interesting character. We'll see where this goes.
Reaching out across the threads, the person attempted to obtain information, to find out who this intruder was, and what he intended to do.

After a few hours being 'lost' Sol arrived at the encampment.
'Let's see..where the heck am I now?..This area definitely looks very high tech..maybe I'll ask someone'
Sol approaches a nearby guard.
"Umm..excuse me, may I know where I am?"

The guard looked at him suspiciously.
"Uh, you're in the main base of the Empire of the Rising Sun."
God, that sounded dumb.
He gave the person a once-over, eyeballed the armor that covered the strange fellow. He fingered his rifle trigger, and noted that several fellow troops and vehicle crews were focused on the newcomer as well.
"Are you with them?" The guard pointed a thumb inside at the motley crew who were entering the central dome.

"Ah..yes I've been looking for those guys. Got slightly side-tracked on my way here, thanks"
Sol walk into the palace, passing through the still deactivated part of the shield.

Kamin watched as Sol walked in through the shield.
One more flew over the cuckoo's nest...
Now, where had that quote come from...?
She had felt Venser's energy signature somewhere within the field, but it had suddenly and mysteriously disappeared a few moments before. In the same instant, another very powerful energy signature had sprung up, somewhere off where the crew quarters were. It was very unnerving - but with so many eggs in one basket, all she could do was watch...
The guns continued to track her.

"Sir, they can still see you. And you look suspicious."
"Oh, shit."
Constantine would have to re-evaluate his strategy. The cloak apparently didn't work. Ai was reading radar and other weird technology.
"Magnet Board off, Iron Dust: Withdraw."
The dust clouds covering Kamin returned to his body as his chakram returned to his back. There had to be some way of getting in...
He spotted Sol asking a guard. Maybe he would try it too. He went up to the guard immediately after Sol vanished from sight.
"Excuse me, I'm lost. Have you seen a guy who's covered in armour everywhere? He's travelling with some others, and I'm supposed to be with him, but I lost track of them. Have you seen them?"

The guard gave Constantine a look like he was dirt stuck under his shoe.
"What do you take me for, an idiot? We all knew you were there and with them the moment you pulled off that metal dust stunt. Our communications technology isn't exactly the telegraph."
He looked back at the compound.
"Anyway, they're gone already. I'd suggest for your own good you go back and wait with your friend over there. The Emperor doesn't like late ambassadors."

All is not well in the state of Denmark, young sir. We have incoming probes from another entity in the area.
What a shame. And I'd thought things were going surprisingly smoothly so far. What exactly am I up against here?
Venser worked on diffusing the mana signatures of each person in the area, obfuscating them to the point that it was impossible to pinpoint a single person. By essentially muddying the waters, he could conceal his identity, if not his presence. Not a particularly difficult task, considering the number of unique people who'd recently entered.
Hold on, let me μgle that for you.
While you're at it, check Magipedia, Eden, and the Lexicon. Someone somewhere's bound to have encountered this organization before. Work fast, though - I can only elude detection for so long.
You do me a grave disservice by underestimating my capabilties, kid. I'd collated all the information on the threat you'd ever need before you even finished asking.
This 'Empire' has in its employ a psychic schoolgirl, name of Yuriko Omega. Last name's probably an alias, her real last name is rumored to be Matsui, but this is unconfirmed. Much of her portfolio consists of psychic manipulation of physical mass, most of which has been observed in military contexts. You probably wouldn't want to go toe-to-toe with her. Then again, considering this image result, maybe you would...if you know what I mean.
...Spare me your matchmaker shtick. What else do you have on her?
Odd history on this one, she apparently came from a research facility. I think we can safely say that this rules out any possibility of her being a well-balanced individual.
Just what I needed. I'm going to have to remain incognito for now, at least until I can make my move.
He started walking along the corridor of the barracks, looking for a central command area.

"Ouch."
Constantine hopped on his Magnet Board and flew back up to where Kamin was.
"Damn. Mission failed. These guys are even more high-tech than me. I might as well just wait here for something to happen."

40th Knight - Yuriko Omega
A strong telepathic presence...
Yuriko could tell the other party was attempting to conceal himself by stirring the broth that filled the psychic pool of the area. Various minds merged together, became hazy.
But when it comes to the end, oil on water is still oil on water.
The psychic threads of the several unique people in the compound glowed with excessive clarity among the dull threads that formed the majority of the army. She had spent years with them, and odd signatures were almost like diamonds in coal. The same essentials, but different structures.
Killing them would have been an easy task. But now was not the time.

Upon entering, Sol has gotten himself lost within the palace.
"Ok, which way did they all go? Ah screw it, I'll find them sooner or later"
'Might as well explore abit..who know what I'll find..'
Sol decided to wander in the palace aimlessly.

From afar, Tsubasa saw Sol wander further in.
Your schizophrenic sidekick tells you to follow.
Listless, Tsubasa's attention wafted back to her surroundings as she caught up with Sol.

Any other person would be sweating if they were in Yuki's position, but thankfully, Yuki did not sweat much, or his armour would stink to the high heavens. He was, more or less, leading a group of misfits to meet and discuss matters with one of the world's biggest misfits, the Emperor of the Empire of the Rising Sun. There was something terribly fundamentally wrong about that, especially since Yuki had very little power he could use by himself, and much less leverage in any form. If the Empire really held the world ending bomb, the only way he could get enough strength to wrest it from their hands would be to start a war, or ask Marisa for help, both of which would be devastating.
"So anyway, does anyone have any idea what the Emperor is like?" He spoke up, trying to stir up some conversation to deflect the tension that perhaps only he was feeling.
The more Yuki knew about the Emperor, the better he could manipulate events to his favour. Even if politicking sucked, if it was something that he had to do, then he had no choice but to do it. That was all there was to it.
He would get the bomb, so that nobody who would abuse it could have it.

[ What will you do? -Fight -Item -Characterswitch -Run] ((But I haven't been Sierra for a while. She's too happy for me right now =_=)) Sierra shook her head once to answer Yuki and resumed her visual inspection of the area. She hadn't ever been outside Port Orlania before this. However, she instinctively did not like this Emperor person. Whoever would deforest an area to build a factory of men and machines could not be amiable to her. "The others seem to have separated." Sierra noted, sensing interruptions in the flow of moisture. "I hope they are alright. This isn't exactly the best place to explore freely..." She eyed the cameras and gadgets carefully.

A period of silence. The guards surrounding the small group waited expectantly as absolutely nothing happened.
Then, five different television screens lighted up at the same time.
"Good afternoon, ambassadors from New Technia. Have you finally decided to stop trying to evict us and call a truce? We have said before and will say again, there is no where else for us to go. If we work together we can achieve far more than we will ever get alone."
The man on the screen had short cropped hair, his face weathered by battle experience. Plated armor covered him, looking to serve more of a ceremonial purpose than anything else.
He suddenly leaned in to get a closer look at them.
"You aren't dressed in usual Technia garb, though. Who are you people?"

Standing on the top of the cliff, Kamin felt the slightest of premonitions as she kept her binoculars trained on the base.
What I'd give for a spotter...
The growing presence was unnerving her, but there was no killing intent from it... yet. Maybe it wasn't a hostile presence, after all.
Still, that hazy sense of foreboding continued to grow like a ball bearing in the pit of her stomach. She scanned the horizons, searching for an enemy that had yet to reveal itself - but there was nothing.
I wonder...

Nagama was very much surprised. A surprise inspection - things were really changing these days. In the past, no one doubted the power of the Supreme Shogunate.
He looked over the envoy, considering.
"Very well. Please follow me to the main conference room. There are some plans I have to go over."
Nagama stood up, and motioned for the envoy to go first.
"I will be with you shortly. Ando will lead you first." He motioned for a man standing quietly in a corner, and started clearing the paperwork on his desk.

5th Guardian - Roundtable Guardian Alliance
This is starting to get a bit out of hand.
The mirror which she held to her face was trained on Venser, whose recent connection to an extra-dimensional being had instantly broken three different laws, and was on the verge of breaking a few dozen more.
But for now... I won't do anything yet...
A slight wind tugged at her emerald hair. This might have been dismissed as a windy day, if she was not floating seven thousand feet above the Empire's base where the air currents were strong.
The time is soon. I will wait...

Yuki briefly wondered how best to answer the question that had been posed to him, before deciding that in this case, honesty was more or less the best policy. He had, after all, no reason to lie, and for all he knew, right beneath his feet was a massive alligator pit that would drop him the moment he lost the trust of the Empire of the Rising Sun and her Emperor. There was, of course, no reason to give the entire truth at one go either, since he needed to keep some information up his sleeves at all times, just in case the Emperor got bored and called for him to be dropped into the aforementioned alligator pit.
Unsure of who the person on the screen was, Yuki simply started things off by bowing. A universal sign of respect, especially here in the Empire, if his resources were correct. It would do for any person of rank so long as he held on to his ambassadorial position, and any person not of rank would be extremely flattered. Hopefully.
"I am Kurogane Yuki, and I am here by recommendation of New Technia. A weapon was stolen from our patron, and based on the evidence we have found on the scene, we believe that the thief has obtained samples of technology from the Empire of the Sun as well. As such, we would like to have the support of the Empire in tracking down this thief, or the entire world would be at stake."
More or less satisfyingly truthful, as far as Yuki was concerned, and if the Empire was indeed guilty of the theft of the world ending bomb that Marisa built, they would show it in their response to the request that he had made.
Besides, he had his own contingencies against alligator pits, like not falling into them. That was why he had a flier and a water manipulator with him, was it not? Amongst other reasons of course.
